Park Place Home Owners Association

 

Park Place Home Owners Association was created to preserve the lasting beauty of our unique neighborhood and to protect the integrity of design of all future homes. The HOA also provides amenities and grounds maintenance for the entire community. By ensuring the charm of the community, homeowners’ property values are both protected and enhanced.

 

A few things the HOA provides.

Members of the HOA enjoy a graciously appointed 2200 square-foot community center, fully furnished with kitchen facilities, recreational and audio/visual equipment. The community center is typically available seven days a week for residents’ use and can be reserved for large gatherings with some restrictions.

There is a sparkling clean, salt-water play pool for member use during season.

The HOA values nature and maintains eight acres of community-property nature preserve, park land and walking trails.

The HOA manages lawn services for all Park Place homes, including full lawn mowing, trimming and edging, flower-bed weeding, and lawn fertilization in addition to weed control several times per year.

 

Architectural Review Committee

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for Park Place reviews all plans for new homes and any  exterior additions or changes, fencing, or other exterior items that reflect on the community as a whole. Plans for homes are submitted to the ARC prior to a building permit being issued by the City of Rockwall. Plans are reviewed for general compliance to the Architectural Guidelines which were produced by Loony Ricks Kiss, (LRK) a pre-eminent neo-traditional architectural firm. The ARC works with homeowners to improve a proposed plan’s exterior elevation and to conform to the guidelines more closely. This process is designed to protect existing owners against repetition of house plans and to ensure that new homes  continue the quality and charm of the design.
